A joinery crew can contact dozens of interior firms and still have no useful conversation if its offer is simply “we do construction.” The recipient needs to understand which trade the crew handles, which sites it can reach, and who remains responsible for design and project coordination. The crew needs to know whether the firm actually commissions commercial fit-outs rather than selling furnishings.

Outreach helps you find public business contacts, review a candidate list, send email, and inspect communication records. This guide follows a hypothetical joinery crew based in Suwon seeking commercial interior partners in Suwon and Yongin. The crew and its proposed campaign are illustrative, not a customer story or a promise of contracts.

What must you define before searching for partners?

Define the trade you can take responsibility for and the work you will leave with the interior firm. In this example, the crew offers interior joinery and fixed fixtures for retail premises. The partner handles design and overall coordination. Electrical and fire safety work are outside the crew's proposed scope.

That definition changes the target. You need firms that commission trade packages, rather than individual homeowners or retailers that only sell furniture. If you instead want to become the principal contractor, write a different offer and review a different audience. A shared industry label does not mean a shared purchasing process.

Prepare work samples you have permission to use, the contact person, material responsibilities, and the conditions for a site assessment. Do not claim a confirmed installation date or fixed price before checking the project. This preparation gives a recipient something concrete to evaluate when your message arrives.

How do you build a useful keyword and territory plan?

Search within your workable travel area using terms that describe the buyer's activity. For the illustrative crew, the territory is Suwon and Yongin. That is an example chosen for this guide, not a recommended radius for every contractor. A wider territory is useful only if you can actually serve it.

Create a project and keyword groups with country, region, common words, and a target. Candidate searches include the local equivalents of “retail interior contractor,” “commercial fit-out,” and “shop interior design.” Separate groups help you review the location behind each candidate. Check the resulting search wording before starting collection.

“Joinery” by itself may identify competing crews. “Interior accessories” may find shops that never subcontract installation. Search for the organisation that can commission your work, not only the name of your own skill. Overseas campaigns also need local trade terminology; replacing a country name does not settle that question.

Which contact fields should you choose?

Choose the fields you will actually use to discuss the work. For an email introduction with a portfolio, set Email to Required, Phone to If available, and Instagram handle to Skip.

The current contact choices include Email, Phone, Instagram handle, and LinkedIn. Every Required field must be present. Requiring both an email and phone excludes a candidate with only email. A missing optional phone does not block a company that satisfies the required email condition. Skip means that field is not purchased or provided to you.

Each received contact field costs one credit. An email plus a phone is two received fields. A public business email is not guaranteed to belong to a named site manager or director. Check whether it is a general enquiries inbox, and ask for routing to the appropriate function where necessary.

How do you review the collected firms?

Check actual commercial work, territory, and the firm's role before choosing recipients. Select Start collecting after setting your criteria, then treat Collection results as a review list. Appearance in a search does not demonstrate current demand for a joinery partner.

Review the firm's site and project samples. Does it deliver shop interiors? Does it manage trade packages? Does it work in your territory? A design-only practice may need a different proposition from a contractor. A “partners wanted” notice also needs a current date and a valid contact route.

Download to Excel produces an Excel-compatible CSV. Fields you did not purchase remain blank. Your crew can add review notes and share the file for a colleague's assessment.

What should your first proposal say?

State your responsibility, territory, and one easy next step. An early price without drawings or material conditions invites a comparison between different jobs. This example asks whether the recipient would like relevant samples before discussing a site.

The following is an adaptable template for the hypothetical crew. Replace the sender details with verified information and add the disclosures required for your recipient's country.

Subject: Joinery cooperation for {company_name}'s retail projects

Hello,

We are a Suwon-based crew handling interior joinery and fixed fixtures for retail premises in Suwon and Yongin.

We propose trade cooperation under your design and site coordination, rather than taking over the entire project.

If you are reviewing joinery partners, may we send relevant work samples and a short responsibility outline? We would confirm materials, pricing, and availability after assessing the project conditions.

Your real name, business, and contact details Please reply if you do not want further messages.

Ask for one decision. Requesting drawings, a meeting, pricing approval, and a start date in the same introduction makes the message harder to answer. Never use another crew's work as your own evidence.

Before sending, connect your own mailbox in Settings → Connect email and save your settings. Follow the provider-specific instructions shown there, then send a self-test to your own inbox. Use the account that will handle replies to this campaign.

How do you test the message before sending?

Use the message editor, Preview, and a test to your own connected inbox. The {company_name} field in the subject or body is replaced with the recipient company's name. Inspect the resulting sentence and check that no previous prospect's name remains in the content.

Check the portfolio link, the material boundaries, and readability on a phone. A recipient should not need to inspect a large attachment to understand what you do. The test is a check of your message, not an ordinary prospect campaign and not a way to collect leads.

Save initial and follow-up content separately. A first request to share samples and a later explanation of material responsibilities do different jobs. If the test reveals a wrong link or unclear commitment, correct it before sending to companies.

What do you check when starting the campaign?

Confirm the sender account, reviewed recipients, contact permission requirements, and your current capacity. Public contact discovery does not establish permission to send marketing. Check the rules applying to the recipient country. The KISA guidance and FTC compliance guide are starting points for Korea and the United States. An advertising label alone does not make every message permissible.

Email sending costs two credits per message. The basic gap is about ten minutes, with adjustable and variable timing. Starting a campaign does not mean immediate delivery to everyone, and neither delivery nor a reply is guaranteed.

Respect requests to stop across whichever channel you use.

What qualifies a reply as a real project discussion?

A reply starts qualification; it does not settle the project. Use Already sent, reply filters, and Sent filters for recent seven, thirty, or ninety days and send count to inspect the contact history. A recorded link click indicates a link interaction, not an awarded trade package.

If the firm says “send samples,” record a sample request. Then confirm the premises, trade scope, likely timing, material responsibility, and payment terms in your own project notes. Sample request, site assessment, quotation, and contract are different stages.

Outreach communication records do not automatically reconcile site schedules or prepare estimates from drawings. Keep confirmed facts separate from unanswered questions so a promising conversation does not become an unsupported capacity commitment.

When is a follow-up worthwhile?

Follow up when you have relevant new information and the prior record permits another contact. You can filter already-sent companies without replies and manually use separate follow-up content. Silence is not evidence of demand. Delivery failures also do not automatically retry.

For this crew, a useful follow-up might explain responsibility when the interior firm supplies materials versus when the crew supplies them. State a changed availability accurately. Do not repeat the introduction unchanged or promise an unrelated trade to keep the conversation alive.

Review failed delivery before further contact, and remove firms that decline or ask you to stop. A smaller relevant conversation is more actionable than a list of unsuitable project requests.

What can you try with the signup credits?

Start with one territory and one clearly defined trade. Signup includes one hundred free credits, and there is no monthly subscription. Hypothetically, receiving thirty email fields and sending thirty emails costs ninety credits: thirty for the fields and sixty for sending. This calculation does not guarantee thirty matching firms or successful deliveries. Additional received phone fields add cost.
