Check if this email address is live

Sending to an address that doesn’t exist causes a bounce, and too many bounces make mail providers suspicious of your account. We check whether an address actually receives mail before you send to it. Free up to 10 times a day.

Why does this matter?

What we do is simple. We connect to that address’s mail server, ask “I’m about to send to this person — will you accept it?”, and disconnect without sending anything. Nothing reaches the recipient.

Why sending to a non-existent address is a problem — When too many emails bounce, mail providers (Google, Naver) conclude this sender doesn’t verify their list before sending. After that, even emails sent to valid addresses start landing in spam.

When you see “We can’t verify this” — Some company mail servers are set up to accept any address, even ones that don’t exist (catch-all). For those domains, the only way to know is to actually send to it. In our testing, about one domain in four works this way.
